The Italian ACI Karting Championship in Val Vibrata has experienced a difficult and complex day due to bad weather, but exciting for the competitiveness expressed by the 160 riders of this sixth round of the season which represents the start of the final Tricolore rush. On the 1,050-meter circuit in Abruzzo there were eight categories involved, with double finals for KZ2, KZ3 Junior Under and Over, the IAME X30 Junior and Senior Trophies, the Rotax Junior and Max Trophy, as well as the Naskart single-brand trophy.


In the most performing category, in KZ2 in the first final was Francesco Celenta (Praga-Tm) to dictate the law and to impose himself on Simone Cunati (modena kart) author of a prodigious recovery from the initial stages of the weekend, while the third place went to a deserving Flavio Sani (Maranello-Tm) in front of the color partner Francesco Iacovacci in his debut with Maranello Kart. To gain 10 position and to finish with the fifth place was Giuseppe Palomba (Intrepid-Tm) lingered in a qualifying heats for a technical problem after having scored the pole position in practice. Just Palomba was then the main protagonist of the second final, won with authority and strength after a duel with Cunati, and ended with a success that now launches the Neapolitan driver at the top of the standings before the final meeting of September 23 in Castelletto. Weekend suffered instead for the capoclassification of the first part of the Championship, Giacomo Pollini (Formula K-Tm) forced to 12th place in Race1 after a comeback of 8 positions, and 16th in Race2 for a penalty. In the second final behind Palomba was placed Davide Forè (BirelArt-Tm), while Iacocvacci was the author of a contact with Cunati (Modena Kart) that slowed the pilot of Modena Kart up to go down to sixth place. Third was placed Sani, while Celenta was satisfied with the fourth place, with the fifth position went to an excellent Luigi DiLorenzo (Modena Kart, CRG-Tm).

In KZ3 Junior the victories were divided in the two finals Fabrizio Del Brutto (Modena kart, CRG-Tm) and Edoardo Tolfo (Formula K-Tm). In the first final characterized by an initial heavy rain, Del Brutto preceded Roberto Cesari (Formula K-Tm) and Nicolò Zin (KR-Tm), while in the second final Tolfo preceded Del Brutto and Francesco Temperini (Tony Kart-Tm). In KZ3 Under Emanuele Simonetti (Tony Kart-Tm) did not leave the opponents to escape, going to dominate the first final in front of Michael Dalle Stelle (Maranello-Tm) and Filippo D'Attanasio (Formula K-Tm). In the second final Andrea Fortuna (Maranello-Tm) took off from the pole position, while Simonetti, who still stands out, made a great comeback with the second position. Third place was Riccardo Nalon (Formula K-Tm). Another downpour characterized the first final of KZ3 Over, won by Marco Ruschioni (MacMinarelli-Tm) on Paolo Gagliardini (Maranello-Tm) and Jonni Loddo (CRG-Tm). The second final was instead in favor of Claudio Tempesti (Modena kart, CRG-Tm), penalized in Race 1 for the spoiler unhooked and comeback in Race-2 until the victory over Sebastiano De Matteo (Intrepid-Tm), with Ruschioni who still finished on the podium with third place. The other protagonist of the category, Roberto Profico (Tony Kart-Tm) was forced to retire in both the finals.
