Cremona Circuit, 28.09.2025
In just seven days, Modena Kart and Gioele Girardello became Italian Champions and then World Champions! At the Cremona Circuit, the Italian team with Girardello climbed to the top of the OK-N Junior world after winning the Italian Championship in Franciacorta the previous week. A fantastic result and an exceptional sporting and technical achievement.
A perfect weekend.
At the Cremona Circuit, a result was achieved that rewarded the work of an entire season and brought immense joy, as a beaming Gioele Girardello, the young Modena Kart driver, pointed out after crossing the finish line as the winner of the OK-N Junior World Cup: "Here at the Cremona Circuit, I had a perfect weekend, winning all the races in dry conditions. I simply pushed hard all the time. We worked very hard all year with engineer Simone, my Modena Kart team with the Parolin chassis and the TM Kart engine. I have to thank them very much because it is thanks to their work that I was able to achieve such an important result."
The flawless victory of Gioele Girardello and Modena Kart.
Gioele Girardello and the Modena Kart team, equipped with a Parolin chassis and TM Kart engine, proved to be winners throughout the weekend and clearly prevailed over the other 80 drivers from 27 countries in this OK-NJ race: from pole position in practice to victory in the heats, victory in Super Heat-A and then triumph in the final. An impressive result that gives meaning to the season and adds another valuable piece to the team's palmares.
Winning combination with Albert Tamm.
Gioele Girardello's success was complemented by the excellent performance of his teammate, Albert Tamm, who was also among the fastest in the OK-NJ World Cup in Cremona. Together with Girardello, the Swiss driver monopolized the top positions, finishing third on the podium. A great result that could have been even better. In the end, Tamm took the podium in a winning pairing with his teammate, after the second-best time in practice and second place in the heats, and second place in Super Heat-B.
Nojus Stasionis also basks in glory.
Modena Kart's great success at the Cremona Circuit was rounded off by Nojus Stasionis' victory in the Academy Junior final, in the single-brand FIA Karting Trophy, which aims to discover young talent. Stasionis won the final in Cremona and finished third in the championship among the 50 participants in the Trophy from 40 countries.
