A spectacular double podium by Albert Tamm and Gioele Girardello marked an outstanding result for Modena Kart in the opening round of the WSK Euro Series at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo. The two team drivers delivered impressive performances in the OK-N Junior category, racing with Parolin chassis powered by TM Kart engines, and were the stars of a thrilling final, finishing second with Tamm and third with Girardello.
Tamm and Girardello shine in OK-N Junior double podium.
Right from qualifying, Albert Tamm performed at a high level, missing pole position by just 0.039 seconds. He continued strongly in the heats with one win and two second places. Despite receiving a penalty in the prefinal for a misplaced front spoiler, Albert started from the front row in the final and delivered a remarkable performance, also setting the fastest lap. In the final, he closely followed the race leader, finishing right on his tail in second place.
Gioele Girardello also had a standout performance, recovering brilliantly from a more challenging qualifying session compared to his teammate. After setting the 10th fastest time in qualifying, Gioele steadily moved up through the heats, climbed to third in the prefinal, and secured a spot on the third row for the final. In just a few laps, he made up ground and joined the battle at the front, finishing right behind Tamm in third place, clocking fast laps and setting the third-best time of the race.
To complete Modena Kart’s strong weekend, Federico Mirabella also delivered a positive performance despite a more difficult weekend. He managed to recover several positions from his qualifying result and gain valuable experience.

Solid weekend for Sulyak and Spagni in OK-N.
In the OK-N category, Leyla Sulyak and Luca Spagni also took to the track for Modena Kart, showing positive pace throughout the weekend and working their way among the key players. Unfortunately, despite a strong prefinal, Luca Spagni was forced to retire one-third into the final. Leyla Sulyak, on the other hand, completed the race and gained valuable experience.
