Viterbo, 16.03.2025
Modena Kart's palmares are enriched by a nice first result in 2025 with the third place gained by Gioele Girardello in the WSK Super Master Series championship at the end of the 5 rounds of this year's start. A recognition that instils confidence to continue the new season in the best possible way.
Positive and satisfying result
It is undoubtedly a positive and satisfying result for Modena Kart that obtained at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo by its young and promising driver, even if a small regret remains because it could have gone much better. The event was in fact conditioned by the changeable weather conditions, with alternating sun and rain that made things very complicated. Above all, the unexpected rain created a little extra difficulty, which sometimes not even experience can compensate for. Girardello however held up well to the difficulties, thanks also to the effective technical assistance with the excellent Parolin chassis powered by M.A. Engines that did the rest. In the Final of Viterbo an excellent result also came from the other driver competing for the colours of Modena Kart and Parolin, Albert Tamm, but immediately at the start he lost some positions which prevented him from fighting for the podium.
The progress of the Viterbo weekend.
The Viterbo weekend started with promising prospects for both drivers, with Girardello clocking the fourth-fastest time in qualifying and Tamm the tenth. In the three heats, the best performances came in the second heat on dry asphalt, with Girardello finishing third, and in the third heat, where Tamm secured second place. At the end of the heats, the two drivers stood in excellent positions: Girardello was third, and Tamm sixth. These results were replicated in the Prefinal, with Tamm gaining an additional position. The final, under the rain, dashed the hopes of both young drivers. Girardello finished seventh, securing the third place in the overall championship, while Tamm placed 13th in both the final and the championship standings. Nevertheless, both drivers deserve praise for enduring a truly challenging weekend.
The next event for the Modena Kart team will be on March 23rd in Lonato for the 36th edition of the Trofeo Andrea Margutti.
