IN THE WSK SUPER MASTER OF SARNO ANOTHER POSITIVE PROOF FOR THE COLOURS OF MODENA KART

IN THE WSK SUPER MASTER OF SARNO ANOTHER POSITIVE PROOF FOR THE COLOURS OF MODENA KART

Sarno, 09.02.2025
Modena Kart's participation in the WSK Super Master Series continued in the second round at Sarno, with very interesting indications for the team in the preparation programme for the 2025 season, which will soon see the inclusion of other protagonists.

Meanwhile, in the round held at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, the young drivers engaged in OK-N Junior performed at a very good level, where once again Gioele Girardello achieved a good result confirming the excellent competitiveness of the Parolin chassis with TM Kart engine, together with his team mates Albert Tamm and Nojus Stasionis, while in KZ2 the start of the season was also positive for Anatoly Khavalkin, flanked by Norton Andreasson and Artemi Troitskii.

Nice progression in OKNJ.

After the podium obtained in the first event at La Conca, Gioele Girardello also performed at a high level in the second round at Sarno, where only the misfortune of running into the penalty of the front spoiler unhooking prevented the Modena Kart driver from taking another podium. The 5-second penalty in fact relegated Girardello from the third place conquered at the finish line in the final to seventh in the standings. It was a pity because at Sarno Girardello also gave another excellent demonstration of competitiveness in OKNJ, where he finished sixth in the championship.

At Sarno also came the first points in the championship for Albert Tamm, with a productive 12th place in the Final after being in the top ten in the qualifying phase, sixth place in the heats and eighth place in the Pre-final. Also doing well was Nojus Stasionis, tenth in the Pre-final at the end of a wonderful comeback, which was unfortunately thwarted by a retirement in the first few hectic laps of the Final.

Season debut in KZ2.

In KZ2 of the WSK Super Master at Sarno there was the championship start of Modena Kart, with Anatoly Khavalkin, Norton Andreasson and Artemi Troitskii. The one at Sarno turned out to be a test with interesting ideas, where a good result came especially from Khavalkin, who in the Final completed a fine comeback of 12 positions at a great pace of fast laps. In fact, he set the fourth best time overall in 56.949, which also confirmed the excellent competitiveness of the entire technical section. On the other hand, Norton Andreasson narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Final, despite a good 16th place in the Pre-final, while a retirement in the Pre-final prevented Artemi Troitskii from entering the finalists.

Next appointment for Modena Kart on 23 February in Lonato for the third round of the WSK Super Master Series.
