La Conca, 26.01.2023
The first outing of 2025 got off to a great start for Modena Kart in the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca, where in this first outing the team presented some of the most interesting drivers emerging in the OK-N Junior category.
To excel with the Parolin chassis powered by TM Kart put on track by Modena Kart was above all Gioele Girardello, author of an excellent weekend enriched by a series of fastest laps to earn in the hard-fought final a well-deserved podium at the end of a great comeback. Also racing with Modena Kart at La Conca were Nojus Stasionis and Albert Tamm.
Girardello Show!
In this round of the WSK Super Master Series, young Girardello was the author of a real feat, which began with his non-participation in the qualifying heats due to a personal problem that forced him to start the heats from the last position! Moreover, the chain breakage in the third heat penalised him further in the intermediate ranking, but his reaction was incredible, thanks also to the team that put him in the best conditions to recover, and so it was: 17th after the heats, 3rd in the Pre-final after a 14-position comeback, 11th on the starting grid of the Final, and again the last eight positions recovered to take the podium in a sensational final sprint. His was the fastest lap in the final and also of the whole event. Chapeau!
With Modena Kart also other promising youngsters.
Also competing with Modena Kart in the OK-NJ category were two other promising youngsters: the Lithuanian Nojus Stasionis, also author of a great comeback of 18 positions in the final to place 11th, and the Swiss Albert Tamm, unfortunately forced almost immediately to retire in the final after a series of positive performances.
Next appointment for Modena Kart on 9 February at Sarno for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series.
