Modena Kart archives the first Italian weekend in Cremona

The Italian appointment of the weekend just ended was quite demanding for the Modena Kart staff, concentrated on three categories with the numerous line-up of nine drivers.
Starting from the OKN classes, debut time for the new Senior and Junior categories, for the first time in the context of the race in Cremona and honored by the Tuscan team. Modena colors defended by Cebi Ayse and Ayour Achgare in OKN-Junior. The Turkish girl and Turkish rider and the Dutch rider for the first time together on the track showed good ability to adapt despite the prohibitive conditions due to the pouring rain on Friday and Saturday. After qualifying and the heats, both did their best in the first two finals of the season. Good comeback by Achgare in Race 1 with 15 overtakings to his credit and twentieth place on debut, unfortunate retirement for Cebi. Still excellent recovery in Race 2 for the Dutchman with another six positions recovered and fourteenth place overall, twelve squares recovered by Cebi twentieth at the finish after a demanding weekend with positive signals, including tenth place in qualifying.
Two more Modena Kart standard-bearers in OKN Senior, namely Bati Yildrim and Francesco Marenghi. Just the Italian immediately became the protagonist of the category by hitting the third time overall in qualifying, a second place in the first heat and a victory in the last direct clash under the rain on Saturday afternoon. Useful results to also take the pole position for Race 1. Marenghi's good pace then paid off in a Race 1 fought to the end and concluded with a good second place and therefore first podium in the category. Seventh position for the Italian driver at the end of Race 2 with reversed grid at the end of an excellent weekend.

Yildrim made good progress, ninth in qualifying, ninth in the first heat and seventh in the second despite the five second penalty. Double ninth place for the Turkish rider between Race 1 and Race 2 in the name of regularity and increasingly growing experience.
KZ2 concluded the Modena Kart program with Genis Civico,
Luigi Di Lorenzo, Filippo Nuccioni, Filippo Villani and Maksim Orlov busy on the track.
In wet track conditions all the riders showed a good feeling managing to place themselves in the top part of the group with the exploits of Genis Civico during the first heat he closed in fourth place, an excellent pace also in the second one closed early due to a forced retirement . Maksim Orlov in good condition with a clear recovery and placements among the top in the Under 18 classification. Filippo Villani performed well in the first KZ2 race of his career, battling between the first and second heats and then unfortunately forced to retire after the start of the repechage heats due to a contact caused by an opponent who, in fact, denied the deserved access to the finals.
In Race 1 it was Orlov who brought the Modena Kart colors high, obtaining the fifth place overall with four places recovered, the third place in the Under 18 classification and the fastest lap of the race. Sixteenth Nuccioni in comeback and master of a good race pace in line with the leaders, twenty-first Di Lorenzo who also started the attack from the back, retirement for Civico. In the last race of the weekend, Orlov's pace was still excellent in eighth and fourth of the Under 18s, Nuccioni still recovering thirteenth, Civico seventeenth with seventeen positions recovered, Di Lorenzo nineteenth.
