In the opening of the FIA Karting European Championship of KZ2, Simone Cunati on CRG-Tm with Modena Kart was among the greatest protagonists of all, where he finished on the podium with a spectacular second place and fought for victory right to the finish line. Cunati has been very fast since qualifying, with the best performance of the Serie-2 and second best overall time. Excellent also in the qualifying heats ended with the fourth position. In Finale Cunati he immediately asserted himself entering the leading positions, then in the final rush he tried to win by finishing just 62 thousandths of a second behind the Skaras winner. The second round of the European Championship is scheduled in Sarno for June 16th.
